Intro
Shows what is required to open Aritma Pay for the first time. If you need the installation guide, see HERE.
Aritma Pay must be started from Visma Business. To access the setup, you first need to create a bank partner linked to Aritma Pay.
You can open Bank Partner from: File Explorer → Tables → Accounting → Payment Processing → Bank Partner.
Bank Partner
Create a new Bank Partner in Visma Business.
Select EBF system: 99 [Z Data Converter].
Under EBF Processing, check Use database connection for ZData. This must be enabled for Aritma Pay to open. For more details on recommended Bank Partner settings, see the setup of remittance..
Open Aritma Pay
You open Aritma Pay via the Bank Partner menu.
Select the line 99 [Z Data Converter] and click on the following icon:
Connect to Visma Business Database (VBSYS)
When you open Aritma Pay after the initial installation, you need to create a connection to the Visma Business database (VBSYS). Click OK to set this up.
Fill in information to connect to the VBSYS database
Test the connection, and click OK if the connection is successful.
Note: If the information is correct but you still receive an error, Microsoft® ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server is most likely missing.
Connect to Aritma Pay database (cxDatabase)
Here you can choose to connect to an existing Aritma Pay database (cxDatabase) or create a new one.
Select New database or Existing database, and then click Test connection.
You will then see the following dialog window:
Select "OK".
Then select "OK" again in the Database Connection window.
License
Enter your license number. You can retrieve this from the Aritma Partner Portal or by contacting Aritma Support (support@aritma.com).
Enter the name of your bank connection:
You have now set up and opened Aritma Pay.
Aritma Pay can be used for all types of payment processing, invoicing, incoming payments, and importing card transactions. The further setup will depend on what you intend to use Aritma Pay for.
