Set up BankID

BankID is a secure and simple way to verify your identity when using digital services. In the Pay Portal, BankID is used to ensure safe access and to approve payments. The BankID verification is valid for 90 days, after which you will need to verify again to maintain security.

 

How to verify with BankID

  • Log in to the Pay Portal

  • On your first login (or after 90 days), you will automatically be asked to complete BankID verification

  • Choose your preferred method (BankID on mobile, BankID app, or code device)

  • Follow the instructions shown in your browser and on your device

  • Once verification is complete, you will be redirected back to the portal and can continue using the services as normal


If you don’t have BankID

You can request manual verification. Manual verification is only available for users who cannot use e-verification methods such as BankID, MitID, or Swedish BankID.


Having issues?

Common reasons why BankID may not work:

  • BankID is blocked or deactivated by your bank

  • Incorrect national ID number or personal information

  • Your browser does not support the BankID solution
