AC08 – BIC/Swift code is invalid or missing

AC error message – Common when errors occur related to debtor and creditor accounts

BIC stands for Bank Identifier Code and identifies your bank. A BIC is required for payments to many countries, and always when using IBAN. (Example: DNB = DNBANOKKXXX)

Causes:

• BIC/Swift code is invalid or missing in the payment

Solution:

• Verify that the payment includes the correct BIC/Swift code

• The BIC must always be written in uppercase letters

If you are certain that your payment contains the correct BIC/Swift, please contact our customer support at support@aritma.com. Include the following information about the rejected payment:

• Company (Name and organization number)

• Sender account number

• Amount

• Date
